red cotton tree '05

I still haven't visited the same tree this year though it's already the blooming season for red cotton tree.

Maybe I should take a visit to this old friend before the flowers are gone...actually, I worry if the same tree will be gone soon since a construction site just next to the tree started last summer and some big branches were cut.

With the help of Ze, I just finished editing the video of my visit to this old huge hero tree in 05.

the background music is Pas Si Simple by Yann Tiersen ( from OST of Amelia )

enjoyed the video so much... great.
The video tells me the story...

Your "good old friend" have been there since your childhood..
I can imagine you sometimes talk to him when you were in happy and in sorrow.
And he always listens you talking and watches your growing.

I envy you have such a good friend.
'cos I don't have a friend like him 'cos I have changed my place since I was born... 6 times, and now, I'm far from the place I spent my younger days.

Oh, I don't regret it.
Because I have my beloved ones by my side and far away(but so close) :)

May your "good old friend" will be safe and be with you ever :)

today is rainy day again...wish to visit the tree when the sun comes again soon. :)

oh...no, the only star in the movie is the "kapok" tree. :)

masa san> haha, glad that you can see "my old friend" from the video, though it looks so different this year ( not as strong as beautiful as it used to be ). That's why i tried to make this video clip.

Though you are far from your hometown now, I know you still miss the place and the family members there. No matter how far you are moving, your heart never leaves them at all. :)

Hmmm...i am not that sentimental to talk with the tree but while I am near the tree, I feel relief and comfortable even we are "all in silence". I guess sometimes, you can understand even without talking. :)
